The Jennings Educators Institute aims to energize educators, promote networking opportunities, and enhance classroom instruction. The Institute is open to administrators and teachers in selected areas of Ohio and is limited to 100 participants. Sessions are held on three Saturdays in the fall. Those interested must complete an application and commit to attending all three sessions. The fall, 2016 program will be held at The University of Cincinnati.

Each summer the Jennings Foundation sponsors two Mathematics Institutes designed to re-energize Ohio’s mathematics teachers in grades 4-5 and 6-8. The separate sessions are filled with practical strategies teachers can incorporate immediately in their lessons. Interested teachers must be nominated by their superintendent. The Foundation will mail letters to all superintendents in April with details regarding the 2016 Institutes.

The Jennings Foundation sponsors an end-of-summer retreat each year for Ohio’s educational leaders. The event provides an opportunity for this group of professionals — superintendents, college deans, ODE and Regents staff, OEA and OFT representatives, and state board of education leaders — to discuss critical issues in education today.
