IMPORTANT INFORMATION For Teachers Applying For Jennings Grants-To-Teachers

The Martha Holden Jennings Foundation welcomes your application for a Grant-To-Teachers. The Grants-To-Teachers program supports the foundation's basic objective of recognizing and encouraging outstanding classroom programs. The Foundation can provide funds only to elementary and secondary secular schools in Ohio.

Applications should be in by the 20th of the month preceding the month in which they are to be considered.

The Distribution Committee meets 10 months of the year (not in July and December).

In order for us to give serious consideration to your request for funding, you must:

have an endorsement, including comments, by your superintendent of schools on the back of the form.

mail the original and nine copies to:

Please keep these limits of the program in mind:

You may apply for a grant of up to $4,000 for schoolwide or districtwide projects.

The application should not exceed the printed form, plus two additional pages if needed.

Grants are not made for capital improvements or graduate study.

Your request should be for one year only. You may reapply for a second or third year if your program is successful.

Your application will be acknowledged upon its receipt and you may expect a response within six weeks.
